Today, I've got some brief sound bytes for you at the Garden Store.
Gotta get my fix of the odiferous glory of spring, rising to the occasion (as they say).
What’s behind me?
You cannot smell it through your computer screen?
The fragrance dropped my jaw -- it's so rank-ilicious (my new word, sorta like a cross between delicious and over-cool-smelling) that you gotta scratch and sniff your screen now.
Yes, it's lilac shrubs behind me in the photo.
Ridiculous that they bloom here now.
OK, now back to the garden store.
What kinda tomatoes do you recommend this year, folks? I was thinkin’ of some heirlooms.

Hi Avi! Doctor Margaret here! In regards to your question about tomatoes, John Denver, years ago, wrote a song I think you'd like called "Home Grown Tomatoes"........Keep smilin, Little Prince, You Brighten my day!
Uncle Wisconsin says we still got ice & snow, tomatoes are in our dreams only......
